A solid rubber bung closes a designated opening with a black molded body whose retained surface may be hidden during use. The exposed face can remain intact while the body develops cuts, lasting deformation or an altered fit, so removal inspections should include the complete part.
Structure, material, dimensions, hardness and color can be customized. Develop the profile around the actual opening and service conditions, including the grip needed for removal. Black appearance does not identify a single rubber formulation or establish a durability rating.
Fit the stopper to its designated seat and evaluate the complete closure under its required conditions. During servicing, follow the equipment's removal procedure and inspect the contact area alongside the mating opening. If a cut follows the same part of the body, look for a damaging edge before installing another stopper. Keep the selected material and dimensions together for replacement rather than choosing a similar black plug whose hidden profile differs.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
