Product Overview

A suction cup with metal attachment combines a flexible glass contact surface with a rigid connection for the surrounding assembly. The rubber lip needs to seal against a suitable smooth surface, while the metal feature must transmit the intended force without peeling that lip away. Size, material and color can be customized for the specific arrangement.

Consider how the attached item places force on the cup. A centered pull and an offset bracket do not load the contact in the same way. An overhanging attachment can introduce a turning effect even when the total weight seems modest. Check the complete bracket, metal attachment and cup together on the actual surface.

Clean the glass and cup lip before fitting, and keep the sealing perimeter free of chips or debris. A damaged edge can make retention unreliable. The heavy duty wording does not supply a rated lifting capacity, so establish the allowable use through evaluation of the finished assembly. Do not infer a lifting role merely from the metal fitting.

After installation, look for the cup being distorted by the attachment hardware. Assess retention over the intended duration and during the movement expected in use. Release the cup by the intended method before repositioning it, rather than pulling the metal connection sideways until the lip breaks free.

Material options
Rubber compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. Assess retention over the intended duration and during the movement expected in use.
Custom geometry
The rubber lip needs to seal against a suitable smooth surface, while the metal feature must transmit the intended force without peeling that lip away.
Fit evaluation
Check the complete bracket, metal attachment and cup together on the actual surface.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM markings outside the suction contact face.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
