Tail rubber cones can be custom molded as protective components around a matching end or transition. Material, dimensions, hardness, and color can be adapted to the assembly. The taper needs to follow the actual mating shape rather than being defined by the large-end diameter alone.
Measure both ends and the usable length, including any internal shoulder or retention feature. The component should reach its intended position without bottoming out prematurely. The outside shape also needs clearance from nearby parts throughout the assembly's normal handling or movement.
Choose the silicone or other specified compound for the temperature and contact environment. Fit the cone without turning its edge inward or forcing it across a sharp projection. Check that the smaller end remains in its intended shape once the larger section is seated. During care, inspect the narrow region and any transition that flexes during removal. Replace a damaged or permanently stretched component with the matching profile so that the original protective coverage and seating position are preserved.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The outside shape also needs clearance from nearby parts throughout the assembly's normal handling or movement. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
