Match the attachment and installation method
A cable through wall grommet cushions the wiring where it crosses the wall and forms an interface for an entry that needs controlled contact. Both sides of the route matter: a tidy exterior run can still pull the rubber out of alignment if the cable behind the wall turns sharply or lacks support.
Establish the intended cable position before selecting the grommet profile. Match the bore to the jacket and the retaining section to the finished opening. Custom material, hardness, dimensions and color are available from ETOL. Where exclusion of moisture is required, include the actual wall surface and cable position in the assembly evaluation.
Leave access long enough to inspect the hidden lip after the cable is secured. Do not use a tug from the visible side to compensate for wiring caught behind the wall; release and reroute the obstruction. After maintenance, confirm that the entry returns to its natural position and that debris has not been drawn into the contact area. A flange lifted on one side calls for a routing or seating correction.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Both sides of the route matter: a tidy exterior run can still pull the rubber out of alignment if the cable behind the wall turns sharply or lacks support. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
