Product Overview

A round rubber silicone washer can be customized for a defined annular joint, with its dimensions and formulation established around the mating faces. For repeated production or replacement supply, the important reference is the complete configuration, including the section and compound rather than only the outside diameter.

Decide whether the joint requires a flat washer or an O-ring section before developing the profile. These shapes contact their mating features differently. Choose the material for the actual medium and operating conditions, with color or markings used only as part of an agreed identification scheme.

Evaluate the selected part in the assembly and retain its intended dimensions for subsequent production. During fitting, inspect for a shifted opening or a trapped edge before the joint is secured. When several similar seals are used in the same workshop, keep them separated by configuration. A washer that looks close to another size can still change the installed contact or leave part of the sealing area unsupported.

Material options
Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. Evaluate grade, thickness and supported width together; a nearly matching washer size can still deform beyond the intended sealing face.
Custom dimensions

Use & inspection

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
