An EPDM wire protector uses a specified rubber material to line a matching panel opening. Its role is to keep the cable jacket away from the cut edge, with the groove and flange holding the part in place. Material and fit should remain linked when replacing the component.
Check the existing opening and the cable size before choosing a profile. A replacement that matches the outside flange may still differ at the internal passage or groove width. The EPDM formulation should suit the environment at that position, including cleaning exposure and any nearby fluids.
ETOL can customize the profile, hardness and color. Seat the part in a clean, finished cutout and verify that the cable does not force it sideways. If a wire has already worn through its jacket, replacing the grommet alone does not address that damage; follow the equipment's servicing procedure. Keep the specified material associated with the dimensional reference so a future purchase does not substitute a different rubber solely because the color and outline appear similar.
