Rubber plugs for square holes need their corner geometry matched to the actual openings. The side dimensions are only part of the fit: corner radius, panel thickness, and the retaining section determine whether the plug seats consistently. Custom molding allows those features to follow the assembly.
Inspect the cutout for rounded corners or local changes in thickness. A plug may fit along the straight sides while remaining lifted at the corners if the profiles differ. Check the space behind the opening so that the retained portion can settle completely.
Select material and hardness for the intended environment and fitting method. Prepare the opening by removing damaging burrs, then seat the plug without stretching one corner far ahead of the others. Inspect all four sides after installation. During removal, use the designed handling area rather than levering against a corner with a sharp tool. Replace a distorted plug with the correct square profile instead of trimming the edges of another size to fit the hole.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
