A square pipe plug closes the end of a shaped tube with a profile adapted to its internal opening. A silicone rectangular sheath variant covers an outside profile instead. The receiving surfaces differ, so the inside dimensions for a plug and outside dimensions for a sheath should be established separately.
Tube corners are not always perfectly sharp. Their radii, wall thickness, and any internal seam affect how the rubber fits, even when the nominal side dimensions agree. Measure the finished tube end and account for the full region that will engage the closure. An inserted body should not stop against a seam before the head reaches its intended seat.
Remove cutting burrs before fitting and align the long and short sides correctly on a rectangular version. The closure should follow the tube profile without one corner remaining stretched or lifted. Choose material and hardness for the tube's use environment and the desired handling method. If the end piece will contact another surface in service, assess that contact role separately from its ability to finish the open tube end.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
