An oval cable ceiling grommet cushions wiring at an elongated overhead opening. Its outline can accommodate a cable arrangement that would be awkward in a small round hole, while the rubber rim separates the wiring from the surrounding cut edge. Access above the ceiling should be considered before choosing the retention geometry.
Cable weight must be carried by suitable supports rather than left hanging from the grommet. Overhead routes may also direct moisture toward an opening, so an intended waterproof installation needs an appropriate complete sealing arrangement. A neoprene part and an oval profile do not, by themselves, establish a waterproof rating for the ceiling assembly.
Check the panel thickness and finish the cut edge before fitting. Seat both ends of the oval carefully, then route the cables without folding the flange. Leave enough access to inspect the entry after adjacent fittings are installed. If a cable is replaced later, confirm that the new diameter and route still suit the opening and that servicing has not pulled the rubber out of position.

The outline can accommodate a cable arrangement that would be awkward in a small round hole, while the rubber rim separates the wiring from the surrounding cut edge. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
