Rubber end caps tips cover the end of a component using a custom cavity and gripping wall. Internal depth should be matched to the feature being covered so the tip can seat without pressing sharply against the closed end. The outside profile should also suit the space and handling around that component.
Silicone and other selected materials can be developed in custom dimensions, hardness and color. Consider whether the part is removed often or stays in place during normal use. The exposed area should support the intended handling without encouraging repeated pulling on a thin rim.
Inspect the component tip for burrs and remove debris from the cap cavity before fitting. Check that the wall engages evenly rather than curling outward on one side. During use evaluation, observe whether surrounding contact tends to push the cap farther on or pull it loose. Replace caps with internal cuts or lasting deformation. A repeated puncture at the closed end may indicate insufficient cavity depth or a sharp underlying feature that needs correction.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
