Product Overview

An extruded rubber seal needs a section that follows the channel or mating faces supporting it. This custom gasket and ring offering allows material, outline, and dimensions to be developed for the intended interface. The production profile should work with the assembly rather than relying on flexibility to absorb a substantial mismatch.

Identify the surfaces that locate the seal and those that apply compression. A narrow channel may control the sidewalls, while an open face requires a different arrangement to keep the rubber positioned. Corners, transitions, and the finished perimeter should be included in the dimensional definition.

Choose the compound for the medium, temperature, and cleaning exposure. Fit the seal without stretching its length to reach the end of the seat, and check that it lies naturally through any change in direction. Close the mating parts without dragging the profile sideways. During maintenance, inspect compressed regions and transitions for cuts or lasting distortion. Replace the component with the required finished geometry, preserving the intended contact path and supported section.

Material options
Rubber. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Rubber: 30–90 Shore A. Fit the seal without stretching its length to reach the end of the seat, and check that it lies naturally through any change in direction.
Custom dimensions
A narrow channel may control the sidewalls, while an open face requires a different arrangement to keep the rubber positioned.
Fit & assembly
The production profile should work with the assembly rather than relying on flexibility to absorb a substantial mismatch.
Use & inspection
During maintenance, inspect compressed regions and transitions for cuts or lasting distortion.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
