Product Overview

A molded rectangular rubber gasket carries its sealing outline in one shaped component. The sides and corners should align with the joint in a relaxed condition. Stretching one side to reach a locating point can pull another section away from its intended contact area and alter the fit once the rubber settles. For a custom gasket price, define the rectangular dimensions, section thickness, compound and quantity; changing the corner geometry can also change how the part is made. ETOL manufactures the gasket in China to the selected configuration.

Develop the length, width, section and corner geometry around the mating parts. Material selection depends on the joint environment, including the substances that may contact the gasket during operation or cleaning. A custom profile should be checked in the assembled joint, not only laid against one exposed face.

Place the gasket progressively around the perimeter and confirm each corner before fastening the cover. If a section repeatedly lifts, inspect the local recess and the gasket orientation. Do not use a sharp implement to hold the rubber in place while closing the joint. During replacement, compare the locating features with the intended design so a reversed or nearly matching gasket does not become trapped beneath the cover.

Material options
Rubber. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Rubber: 30–90 Shore A. Stretching one side to reach a locating point can pull another section away from its intended contact area and alter the fit once the rubber settles.
Custom dimensions
Develop the length, width, section and corner geometry around the mating parts.
Fit & assembly
Place the gasket progressively around the perimeter and confirm each corner before fastening the cover.
Use & inspection
During replacement, compare the locating features with the intended design so a reversed or nearly matching gasket does not become trapped beneath the cover.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
