A vacuum squeeze bulb should recover as intended within its connected air path after compression. A change in return behavior does not identify the bulb material as the cause by itself. Restricted tubing, a connection held at an awkward angle, or an associated valve can affect what the user feels at the chamber.
Assess recovery with the actual installation, including the surrounding space. The body may be clear at rest yet rub against a bracket as it changes shape. A tube can also become pinched only while the user's hand closes around the assembly, making a static visual check incomplete.
The finished system determines its required vacuum and pumping behavior; the loose bulb does not establish those values. When response changes, inspect the connected arrangement through its designated maintenance process instead of repeatedly applying greater force. Look for persistent collapse, cuts, or contact marks on the chamber and neck. Use the selected material and connection profile for replacement so that correcting one damaged component does not introduce a different airflow restriction or handling problem.
