A Conical Rubber Plug can be developed with a tapered silicone body for a matching opening. Custom structure, dimensions, hardness and color allow the part to suit the required seat and handling method. The relationship between the narrow entry and wider upper region determines where the taper contacts the opening.
Check that contact before choosing the exposed size. A taper that engages only at the mouth can rock differently from one supported farther inside. Leave clearance for the inserted end and retain enough exterior for removal without gripping the sealing surface with a tool.
Color can identify a profile among similar tapered plugs, but the actual dimensions remain the basis for fit. Select the finished silicone for the contents and cleaning conditions. Keep the taper free of residue that can alter how far it enters. If seating depth changes after use, inspect the rubber and opening for contamination, damage or a changed shape before pressing the plug farther in. Consistent installation should come from the matched profile rather than escalating insertion force.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A taper that engages only at the mouth can rock differently from one supported farther inside. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
