Match the attachment and installation method
A custom silicone rubber keypad contains more than the visible finger contact of each button. The flexible section controls movement, while the stationary body locates the part in the product. A custom keypad design should distinguish these areas so that the enclosure supports the button without interfering with its travel.
Establish the switching component's position and the space between board and panel. The cap needs enough room to move within the opening, and any locating feature should position the body without stretching it. The intended finger approach helps determine whether the top should be evaluated mainly at its center or over a wider accessible area.
Test the button after the enclosure is secured, checking both activation and recovery after release. If its behavior changes when fasteners are tightened, look for trapped material or a restraint crossing the moving section. During handling, support the molded body rather than pulling on the cap. Small tears or folds in the hidden flexible area can affect operation before there is any obvious damage to the visible surface.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
