A Silicone Stopper Hole Plug is useful where a fitted rubber closure must sit inside an opening while remaining accessible for removal. In a recessed mounting, the surrounding wall can make even a simple plug difficult to grasp. The exposed portion should therefore be designed alongside the hole depth and nearby clearance.
ETOL can customize the plug structure, size, hardness and color. Choose a body fit that provides the intended retention without requiring a sharp tool for routine removal. If the plug is meant to sit flush, establish a suitable removal approach as part of the assembly design rather than relying on levering against the finished surface.
Check the part in the actual recess, including the deepest permitted seating position. Dirt or liquid collected around the plug can affect handling and contact, so keep the mating area clean before reinsertion. The selected silicone should be compatible with the intended environment. Replace a plug that has torn at its gripping area, and review the fit if removal repeatedly damages the same portion of the rubber.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The exposed portion should therefore be designed alongside the hole depth and nearby clearance. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
