Ribbed rubber plugs use molded engagement features along the inserted sections. Those ribs should match the intended opening and available depth. Custom silicone or other selected rubber geometry can define the body, exposed face, and handling area for the closure.
Check the bore entrance for burrs or debris before fitting. A rib can fold or catch if the bung is started at an angle. The final position should engage the intended portion of the profile without forcing the closure deeper to compensate for an unsuitable size.
Choose the compound for the contents and temperature at the opening. Insert squarely through the designed method and inspect the exposed edge after seating. During removal, use the intended handling region rather than gripping a rib with a sharp tool. Check the engagement features for cuts or lasting distortion before reuse. Replace with the matching rib profile and body dimensions so that the closure returns to its original fit within the hole.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
