A heat-resistant rubber stopper for industrial use should fit the opening and remain manageable within the equipment's service arrangement. The available grip, depth behind the opening and nearby hardware all affect whether the closure can be installed and removed through the intended procedure.
Choose the compound for the actual temperature, contact medium and duration of exposure at that location. Custom dimensions and colors can follow the equipment configuration. General heat-resistant wording does not establish one operating limit across all rubber or plastic material choices.
Evaluate the stopper with the surrounding equipment assembled, including the access that remains for inspection. Use the designated fitting and isolation procedures rather than treating a tight plug as a pressure-rated closure. During maintenance, inspect the contact surface and retained profile before reuse. If the part has become difficult to remove, investigate changes in the opening, material or service exposure instead of cutting away the exposed grip and leaving the body trapped inside.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The available grip, depth behind the opening and nearby hardware all affect whether the closure can be installed and removed through the intended procedure. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
