Selected for the contact, temperature and movement
Define the visible surfaces and intended color
Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
Colored rubber caps can provide recognizable closures on machine components while allowing each version to match its particular connection. This custom range includes cap and plug forms, with material, size and color selected for the installation. Choose the closing method according to whether the part covers an exposed end or engages inside an opening.
Maintenance access should guide the exposed shape. A cap beside a bracket needs room to be grasped, and a plug behind a removable panel should remain reachable after nearby components are installed. Check the sequence of removal and refitting so routine access does not require bending the rubber around a sharp obstruction.
EPDM and SBR are among the material options, with the actual compound chosen for the machine's local environment. Identify exposure to fluids, heat and cleaning products at the closure location. Use colors consistently across service positions, and check that a removed part returns to its matching connection. Replace distorted caps rather than compensating with improvised packing or forcing them onto a different end size.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Colored rubber caps can provide recognizable closures on machine components while allowing each version to match its particular connection. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
