Selected for the contact, temperature and movement
Define the visible surfaces and intended color
Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
Small rubber end caps provide a molded closure around a matching bottle or end feature. Compact size can make removal access limited, so the exposed cap should be shaped with enough usable grip for its intended handling method while staying clear of nearby parts.
Develop the silicone or rubber cap around the actual neck or end dimensions, including its lip, depth and any taper. A cap that engages only at the entrance may move differently from one that seats along its intended contact area. Material, hardness and color can be tailored to the use.
Evaluate fitting and removal with the complete container or assembly. Check that the grip remains reachable after adjacent covers or packaging are present. Select the compound for the contents and cleaning routine, and inspect the inside before refitting. Avoid pulling repeatedly at a narrow corner if the design provides another removal area; localized tearing can weaken the retained edge even before the cap appears visibly loose.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Develop the silicone or rubber cap around the actual neck or end dimensions, including its lip, depth and any taper. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
