A solid silicone rubber small cone plug meets a test-tube opening along a particular region of its taper. That contact band should be established from the actual opening and intended insertion position, not simply the widest or narrowest end of the plug.
ETOL offers custom dimensions, material, hardness and color. Compare the neck geometry and available depth, then choose a formulation suited to the contents and processing conditions. Leave an appropriate exposed region for handling so the closure does not need to be levered against the tube rim.
Fit the cone evenly on a clean, undamaged opening and avoid pressing it farther merely to obtain a tighter feel. Use a closure arrangement appropriate to the intended procedure, including any required retention or pressure provisions. After use, follow the applicable release and cleaning method before inspecting the contact band. Look for cuts, swelling or a permanent groove that changes the seat. If a tube is replaced, reassess the fit even when its nominal size appears the same, since the mating neck can differ from the previous component.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
