An adhesive silicone pad provides a molded rubber contact that can be located on a suitable surface through its backing. The bond face should remain protected until the assembly is ready for placement, because dust or handling residue can affect attachment before the pad is ever loaded.
ETOL can customize the structure, dimensions, hardness and color. Select the adhesive construction for the substrate and operating environment, including cleaning exposure. A 3M reference does not define a single backing grade, so the complete pad and adhesive combination should be developed for the intended surface.
Check the placement with the liner still attached, then prepare the bonding area and position the pad without touching the exposed adhesive. Follow the selected backing's application conditions before bringing the opposing part into contact. Avoid sliding that part across a freshly fitted pad. If an edge later lifts, inspect for contamination, incompatible surface finish or sideways loading instead of repeatedly pressing the same exposed adhesive back down.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
