Waterproof cable grommets can be customized for industrial cable openings where the panel and jacket contacts need to work together. When several entries sit close together, the space around each flange deserves attention as well as the individual hole size.
Leave sufficient room for the rubber perimeter to seat and for the cable to approach without being pushed aside by its neighbor. ETOL can adapt profile, dimensions, compound, hardness and color. Consider the final bundle directions when defining the spacing, since cables connected to different destinations may load the entries differently.
Install and inspect the entries before the cable group hides their edges. After securing the leads, check that no flange is trapped beneath another component or drawn into an adjacent opening. Evaluate the required moisture exclusion on the completed arrangement. During service, identify which entry a moved cable affects and inspect that seat before closing access. Avoid pulling a whole group to gain space for one lead if that action could disturb several otherwise correctly fitted grommets.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. When several entries sit close together, the space around each flange deserves attention as well as the individual hole size. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
