A Cable Sleeve Rubber Grommet combines the retained edge of a panel entry with protection extending along the cable. It can be customized in structure, dimensions, rubber choice, hardness and color. For an entry that becomes hidden after enclosure assembly, the fitting sequence should leave time to inspect both the retaining lip and the sleeve before access is lost.
Place the grommet in its intended cutout and check the concealed side while the surrounding area remains open. The sleeve should point toward the planned cable route without needing to be twisted to reach it. Thread any bulky termination at the appropriate stage, so it does not have to be forced through an already restricted passage.
After the cable is secured, inspect where it exits the sleeve. A nearby wall or bracket should not bend that transition back toward the panel. Record the correct routing within the assembly arrangement so later servicing restores it. If pulling on the cable is part of normal handling, assess retention in the completed installation instead of treating the sleeve alone as a defined pull restraint.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Thread any bulky termination at the appropriate stage, so it does not have to be forced through an already restricted passage. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
