A hard rubber grommet with a cable protection sleeve provides a shaped cover around a lead at a compatible opening. A firmer feel can change how the part is handled during installation, so the profile needs a practical insertion path rather than relying on substantial stretching to reach its seat.
Check the opening dimensions, panel thickness and the largest cable feature that must pass through. If a retaining lip must deform during fitting, assess that action on representative parts. Excessive insertion force can damage the sleeve or the surrounding component even when the final position appears suitable.
ETOL can customize hardness along with shape and dimensions. The selected value should support the intended function, not serve as a general substitute for checking fit. After assembly, inspect the cable exit and make sure the sleeve does not create a new concentrated bend. Keep the passage free from abrasive particles during maintenance. If installation repeatedly requires an improvised tool or excessive force, review the groove and entrance geometry before choosing an even harder material.
