Product Overview
A power cable protective grommet provides a rubber boundary around the opening crossed by a cable or harness. The passage should suit the finished jacket, while the retaining region should fit the local panel construction. This custom component protects the edge interface without replacing the cable support required by the full installation.
Check the cable diameter where it actually passes through, including any wrap or additional sleeve. Avoid a fit that squeezes the jacket into a sharp bend as soon as it leaves the panel. Custom material, dimensions and color can be selected around the entry. Seat the grommet before securing the cable route, then inspect it again after the cable is restrained. A nearby pull can lift a lip that was correctly fitted when the lead was loose. During service, examine the cable jacket and the inner rubber edge together. If repeated wear appears at the same position, correct the routing or retained fit before replacing only the liner.
