Custom rubber pipe sleeves provide a cushioned interface where a pipe passes through a cutout or similar supporting feature. The rubber keeps the pipe exterior separated from an edge that could cause rubbing. Its bore, wall and retaining form should follow the pipe and support rather than being chosen from the outside shape alone.
Check whether the pipe is intended to remain fixed or move slightly at the passage. A fixed installation still needs enough clearance to assemble without shaving the rubber, while expected movement requires attention to the contact length and surrounding space. ETOL offers changes to structure, material, dimensions, hardness and color for the sleeve. Align the pipe before seating it through the rubber instead of using the sleeve to force an offset support into line. Inspect the exit areas after installation for a rolled wall or localized pressure. During servicing, look for rubbed patches on the pipe and the sleeve together; their locations can help identify a misalignment that replacing the rubber alone would leave unresolved.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The bore, wall and retaining form should follow the pipe and support rather than being chosen from the outside shape alone. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
