A custom rubber caps cover can be developed around the end or opening of a component. This listing also includes silicone plugs, making the mating direction an important first decision. An external cap locates around an outside surface, while an inserted plug locates within an opening. Those designs use different reference dimensions even if they close the same component.
For an external cover, establish the outside profile and available overlap. For a plug, establish the opening profile and insertion depth. In either case, identify any shoulder that is intended to stop travel, so the flexible part is not pushed farther than necessary during fitting. ETOL can customize size, material, hardness and color for the required construction.
Trial the intended removal method as well as insertion. A cover that is easy to install may be difficult to release if its gripping area becomes hidden behind other parts. Keep the mating surfaces clean, and inspect thin edges after repeated handling. Replace a damaged part with the same functional fit instead of substituting a similar looking cap for a plug.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. For a plug, establish the opening profile and insertion depth. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
