Silicone rubber handle caps can be customized around the end of a handle or its gripping interface. Their dimensions, material, hardness and color can be changed to suit the mating part. The intended role should be established in the assembly: a removable end cover and a surface used to grip an object place different demands on the same general shape.
For a cap, internal depth and rim engagement determine how it sits over the end feature. For a hand-contact application, also examine whether the part can rotate or slide when force is applied. A comfortable surface should not be assumed to provide a structural handle attachment.
Select the compound for the actual service environment, including contact with the mating material and any heat or cleaning exposure. Assess the finished part in its installed position, where the rim, enclosed end and exposed gripping surface may encounter different conditions.
During fitting, avoid catching the opening on burrs or projecting fasteners. Inspect the cap where the hand repeatedly bends or squeezes it, since damage there may be less visible than wear on its outer face.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
