A rubber bellows dust cover needs space for its folds throughout the movement it follows. In a small assembly, nearby brackets or fasteners can occupy much of that space, so the compressed and extended positions should be checked alongside the free shape.
Define the end attachments and travel before selecting the convolution arrangement. The bellows should not be twisted into place to correct a mounting mismatch. EPDM and neoprene options need separate consideration for the actual exposure; sharing a small bellows profile does not make their formulations equivalent in every environment.
Observe the fitted cover across the full intended movement. Look for folds pinching together, rubbing against a hard edge, or concentrating extension near one fixed end. Dust exclusion also depends on the end connections, not just the folded body. During service, inspect the fold roots and attachment transitions where damage may be less visible. If wear repeats on one side, investigate alignment and clearance before replacing the cover with another of the same overall length.
The bellows photos show structural and material examples. ETOL manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber bellows directly, developing the end connections, wall sections and convolutions around your required movement and installation space.

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
