Rubber bumper feet can support a product while introducing a flexible layer beneath its base. This custom mount is sized around the intended contact points and the space available for the rubber body. Its support function and its response to movement need to be considered together.
A foot that feels soft when handled may compress differently once the product's weight is applied. The loaded height should preserve clearance beneath the base, and the support pattern should keep the assembly stable. Uneven weight distribution can make identical feet behave differently at separate corners.
Check the product while stationary and through its normal operating motion. Nearby rigid contacts can bypass the flexible supports, while an overly narrow footprint may permit unwanted rocking. Choose the material for the surrounding conditions and use the intended attachment method. During maintenance, inspect for leaning, displacement, or a change in base clearance. These observations are more useful than assuming an isolation level from the rubber's appearance or free height alone.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The loaded height should preserve clearance beneath the base, and the support pattern should keep the assembly stable. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
