Custom slip-resistant rubber feet provide the contact interface beneath products such as furniture, chairs, ladders, cutting boards and ironing boards. Material, hardness, dimensions and attachment geometry can be developed for each product. The relevant configuration depends on the support structure and the surface it meets.
A foot for a fixed chair leg may have a consistent installed angle. A folding board or ladder can bring the support into a different position as the mechanism opens, while a cutting board places its feet against a worktop and encounters its own cleaning routine. These differences affect cavity shape, contact area and retention. A shared rubber material does not make the finished feet interchangeable across those products.
Check contact with the complete product in its operating position. The support faces should meet the intended surface without an edge carrying contact that belongs across the base. Include normal handling and folding where relevant, so the foot remains fitted without obstructing nearby parts. The product's stability and capacity must be assessed as a complete assembly.
Keep contact faces and the supporting surface clean. Water, residue and embedded dirt can change the interaction between them. Inspect worn feet together with their mounting features, and replace using the required geometry and installed height rather than appearance alone.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The support faces should meet the intended surface without an edge carrying contact that belongs across the base. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
