A micro rubber USB cap provides a custom closure at a small connector opening. The molded shape needs to match the port and surrounding enclosure, including the contact area intended to limit water entry. The cap's fit should be considered as part of the complete housing design.
Check where the rubber retains and where sealing contact is intended. The closure must not load the electrical contacts, and its accessible edge should allow removal without tearing a thin section. A port recessed behind the housing may need different geometry from a flush-mounted connector.
Install the cap onto clean surfaces and inspect the perimeter for a rolled edge or incomplete seating. Required waterproof behavior must be evaluated on the assembled device under its intended exposure conditions rather than assumed from the cap alone. Remove the closure before attaching a cable and keep it clean while it is off the device. During reuse, inspect for cuts or permanent deformation and replace a loose cap with the matching profile.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
