Product Overview
A molded cable rubber grommet should remain aligned as the equipment around it is assembled. Nearby brackets, covers, or cable supports can redirect the cable after the grommet initially seats correctly. The custom profile should therefore be assessed with the complete route and final surrounding clearances in place.
Match the retaining groove to the cutout and panel thickness. The passage should suit the finished cable covering, including any local sleeve. Check whether connectors must be fitted before or after the grommet reaches the panel so the installation route does not damage the working opening.
Seat the component on a smooth edge and inspect the full perimeter. After finalizing supports, check for a lifted lip or cable contact concentrated against one side. During service, inspect again if the nearby assembly has been disturbed.
