Product Overview

Custom blue rubber seal caps cover a defined outside profile while providing a visible closure color. The internal cavity should match the component end, including its depth and any shoulder beneath the cap. Plug versions need their own inserted body dimensions for the opening they close.

The cap should reach its intended position without a rim folded inside or a wall stretched over an unsuitable feature. Leave enough access to remove it through the designed gripping area. Blue color can help identify the part when it is removed, but it should remain linked to the correct material and size configuration.

For dust exposed service, clean the surrounding area before uncovering the component and keep the cap interior protected while it is off. Inspect the rim and internal contact surface before refitting. Choose the formulation for the actual exposure and cleaning substances. Where the cap forms part of a defined sealing boundary, assess the complete installed relationship rather than assuming the visible coverage alone establishes the required behavior.

Material options
Rubber compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. Leave enough access to remove it through the designed gripping area.
Custom geometry
Plug versions need their own inserted body dimensions for the opening they close.
Fit evaluation
Inspect the rim and internal contact surface before refitting.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM identification positioned outside closure contact surfaces.

End Cap Size Catalog

Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.

RSE End Caps

43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
