Product Overview

A rubber seal for electrical plugs needs to occupy its designed position without preventing the connector from engaging fully. The seal or protective cap should be matched to the actual housing features, including any latch, shoulder, or contact region it surrounds. A tight rubber fit is useful only when the electrical connection and its mechanical retention remain correct.

Define the closure's purpose and its position when the connector is in use or disconnected. Check the available compression and removal access. Select the compound around the local temperature, cleaning substances, and environmental exposure, with any electrical or enclosure protection assessed on the complete assembly.
