Stoppers with hole designs combine a fitted outer closure with a passage through the center. The opening can be customized for the component that must pass through it, while the stopper body is shaped for the receiving bore or neck. This arrangement is useful when an opening needs to be closed around a tube or similar inserted part rather than blanked completely.
Two fits need to work together. The outside must seat correctly in the receiving opening, and the central hole must match the inserted component at its contact area. Too much interference at the center can distort the outer surface; too little can leave a path around the tube. Establish the insertion depth of both parts and the clearance beyond the stopper before assembly.
Plan the sequence if the inserted component has an enlarged end. It may need to pass through the stopper before the outer body is seated. Keep both surfaces clean and avoid dragging the rubber over sharp edges. After fitting, inspect the stopper with the tube in its final position, including any side load from its route. Water resistance depends on this complete arrangement and the actual exposure conditions, so assess the assembled interfaces together. A central hole should be molded for the intended use rather than improvised in an unrelated solid plug.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The outside must seat correctly in the receiving opening, and the central hole must match the inserted component at its contact area. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
