Custom silicone bottle caps cover a bottle end with a rubber profile adapted to the neck. The cap opening, internal depth, and closed end need to work together around the bottle's finished outside shape. A matching mouth diameter alone does not account for a bead, shoulder, or other feature beneath the cap.
Consider the position the cap reaches when fully fitted. It should not stop prematurely on a raised section or stretch unevenly around a neck feature. The exterior should leave a usable gripping area for removal while fitting the product's intended storage space. If an inserted stopper is also part of the closure, assess the cap with that component in its final position.
Choose the silicone formulation for the bottle contents, contact conditions, and cleaning method. Keep the cap interior clean before fitting, and remove residue from the bottle neck rather than sealing it beneath the edge. Inspect the wall and mouth after repeated removal. Any required containment behavior should be evaluated with the complete bottle closure and its intended orientation and use conditions.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The cap opening, internal depth, and closed end need to work together around the bottle's finished outside shape. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
