Colored rubber plugs can help distinguish closure positions or versions within medical equipment. The color choice can be coordinated with the device layout, while the molded geometry remains specific to each opening. A consistent identification scheme is useful where several small parts would otherwise look similar during assembly or servicing.
Assign the color together with the material, profile, and intended location. If two openings need different stem lengths or contact surfaces, the replacement process should preserve those differences rather than rely on color alone. The visible head should also leave nearby markings and controls unobstructed when the plug is fully seated.
Select the formulation according to the actual contact and processing conditions at the equipment location. The chosen pigment and rubber belong to the finished component configuration being assessed. Before fitting, keep the body and mating opening clean and verify that the plug reaches its intended stop. During service, inspect the less visible retaining areas for damage and return each closure to its assigned position. Visual identification supports assembly accuracy without establishing the device's medical suitability by itself.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The color choice can be coordinated with the device layout, while the molded geometry remains specific to each opening. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
