Adhesive silicone pads can be integrated into an OEM product as localized supports or bumpers. Their position should be defined alongside the assembly sequence so the bonding face remains clean and the installed part is not disturbed by later operations. A convenient location early in assembly may become exposed to handling or tooling before the product is complete.
Select the pad outline and height around the finished contact, then check the substrate beneath it. Keep the bonding area clear of parting ridges, textured recesses, and features that reduce full contact. The adhesive needs to suit that actual finish as well as the environmental conditions expected in service.
Plan how the operator locates the pad before removing its protective liner. Repeated repositioning can compromise a bond and introduce inconsistent spacing. Once installed, protect the pad from loads that exceed the selected adhesive's application conditions before it is ready. Inspect the final product for correct pad placement and contact, including after packaging or handling steps that could catch an exposed edge.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
