Match the attachment and installation method
Silicone rubber foot pads with 3M adhesive backing provide a way to add rubber contact points to a suitable base surface. The custom pad dimensions can be matched to the available mounting area and the intended clearance beneath the product. The adhesive and the surface need to work together for the attachment to remain useful.
Plan the positions before removing the release liner. Each pad should have a flat, adequate bonding area, clear of recess edges, screws, and intended ventilation openings. Use the preparation and application conditions appropriate to the selected adhesive grade and substrate; the 3M name alone does not identify one universal tape or bonding procedure.
Keep fingers and dust off the exposed adhesive, then apply the pad evenly without stretching the rubber. Check that the complete set supports the product without rocking. Avoid repeatedly lifting and repositioning an applied pad, which can affect the bond. During use, keep the floor-contact surfaces clean and inspect for peeling edges, especially after the product has been dragged rather than lifted.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
