A rubber bushing for wiring creates a custom interface at a receiving opening. The molded profile should correspond to the panel and to the intended center arrangement, whether that is a closed blanking surface or a designed cable passage. Establishing the correct configuration avoids forcing a general closure into a different role during assembly.
Where elevated temperature is expected, the selected compound needs to suit the actual location and operating cycle. The cable jacket and adjoining parts require the same consideration. A heat-resistant description alone does not define the allowable conditions for the complete entry.
Fit the bushing to the finished opening and check the depth available behind the wall. The retaining edge should seat without being pinched by nearby hardware. Leave a closed center intact when blanking is required, and use the intended passage for a wired assembly. After routing, inspect the fit again for sideways distortion. During maintenance, replace damaged rubber and investigate any nearby contact or routing tension that caused the damage.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The molded profile should correspond to the panel and to the intended center arrangement, whether that is a closed blanking surface or a designed cable passage. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
