A colored rubber grommet combines a fitted cable-entry profile with a visible color choice. Custom molding allows the size and color to suit the equipment, whether the aim is to blend the entry with the housing or distinguish one location from another. The color is a visual feature; the dimensions still determine how the part fits.
When using colors across several entries, keep the association with each cable route consistent during assembly. Similar-looking openings can require different bores or retaining grooves, so a color match should not replace dimensional identification. The selected compound must also suit the operating environment independently of its appearance.
Fit the grommet into the finished opening and check that the groove corresponds to the panel thickness. Route the cable with enough slack to avoid lifting the retaining edge. After the equipment is closed, confirm the visible color and the actual route agree with the intended layout. Clean the exposed surface gently during service so markings or surrounding finishes remain readable and the seating edge stays easy to inspect.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. When using colors across several entries, keep the association with each cable route consistent during assembly. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
