A custom rubber silicone keystroke component forms the flexible key used in a switch assembly. Compression molding can develop the shape around the panel opening and the internal pressing point. The key should move in the direction required by the switch without catching on the surrounding enclosure.
Review the relationship between the exposed face and the support beneath it. If they are offset, a press may tilt the key and bring one side against the opening. The molded geometry and locating features should keep the intended load path aligned. Test the assembled key with presses made at normal finger positions, including those slightly away from the center.
Different sizes, colors, and shapes are available for customization. The selected compound should suit the actual control environment. During fitting, avoid trapping a thin edge beneath the panel. Check release after the enclosure is fully secured, since a key can appear free before the final housing compression changes its position and movement clearance.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
