Selected for the contact, temperature and movement
Define the visible surfaces and intended color
Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
A custom rubber block used as a damper should be developed around its mounting and the movement of the supported assembly. The screw arrangement establishes attachment, while the rubber section provides the intended deformation space. The complete mechanism determines any reduction in transmitted vibration or noise.
Dimensions, material, hardness and color can match the installation. Define the load direction, working height and surrounding clearance before selecting the profile. Fastening should not twist the body or compress it beyond the developed resting position.
Evaluate the full assembly with its normal connections and operating conditions. Check for rigid contact around the block and inspect whether the supported component sits as intended. A silent operating result should not be assumed from the component name alone. During maintenance, look for permanent flattening, splitting or a loose attachment. If performance changes, review surrounding hardware and load distribution as well as the rubber. Replacing the block should restore the developed mounting configuration rather than simply fill the same gap with a different hardness.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A custom rubber block used as a damper should be developed around its mounting and the movement of the supported assembly. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
