Match the attachment and installation method
A screw damper provides a threaded attachment for a custom rubber support used in a motorcycle assembly. The thread and the resilient body need to match the exact mounting position, including the bracket thickness and the space occupied after loading. The component's role is defined by that local support arrangement.
Before installation, check the mating thread and available engagement length. The connection should secure the mount without bottoming against an unintended surface. Align the supported part so tightening does not pull the rubber sideways or hold it in a twisted position.
The surrounding environment guides compound selection, particularly where heat or fluids may reach the mount. Check clearance through the actual movement of the supported component, keeping sharp bracket edges away from the flexible body. A screw fitting does not establish compatibility with a particular motorcycle model or a suspension performance rating. During maintenance, inspect the thread attachment and rubber together, since a sound-looking fastener can coexist with a damaged or displaced resilient section.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The thread and the resilient body need to match the exact mounting position, including the bracket thickness and the space occupied after loading. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
157 sizes with a male stud at each end. Compare body diameter D, body height H, thread size and projecting stud length L.
