Product Overview

A natural rubber bumper should present its working face where the assembly intends contact to occur. Custom molded geometry can follow the available space and attachment, with the compound selected for the operating environment. The useful face area depends on the mating component rather than the outer size alone.

Check whether force reaches the bumper centrally or near an edge. A narrow contact point can load the rubber differently from a broad supported surface. The body should have clearance for its intended deformation without another hard feature being reached first.

Fit through the equipment's designed retention arrangement and evaluate the complete motion under normal conditions. During care, inspect wear patterns and check the attachment for movement. Repeated damage in one region should prompt inspection of the mating position and nearby clearance. Use a replacement with the specified formulation and profile rather than making the bumper larger to conceal a changed contact relationship. Preserve the original working face location within the assembly.

Material options
Natural rubber compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. Fit through the equipment's designed retention arrangement and evaluate the complete motion under normal conditions.
Custom geometry
Repeated damage in one region should prompt inspection of the mating position and nearby clearance.
Fit evaluation
Check whether force reaches the bumper centrally or near an edge.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; part identification clear of mounting seats and loaded faces.

Review the intended assembly

Working conditions

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.

Material and structure

Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.

Installation

Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
