A USB dust cover cap covers a matching connector opening when it is not being used. For a plastic construction, the retaining geometry must suit the receiving feature without relying on the same deformation expected from a soft rubber part. Connector format and enclosure shape both need to be defined.
Check the depth available inside the opening and the space outside for removing the cap. The part should reach its intended stop without loading electrical contacts or becoming difficult to retrieve. A head that projects too far may catch during handling, while one hidden inside a recess can leave inadequate access.
Keep the cap's inner surface clean before fitting and use the intended removal feature when reconnecting a cable. Physical dust coverage does not establish a watertight enclosure. Inspect the retaining edges for cracks or wear during reuse. A plastic cap with a broken locating feature should be replaced rather than forced into the port, where fragments or a distorted profile could interfere with the next connection.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
