Tapered silicone rubber feet have different dimensions at the mounting end and the contact end. That profile can suit a base where a broader attachment area transitions to a smaller visible foot. Custom geometry allows the taper, height, and footprint to be coordinated with the product's underside.
Measure both ends when selecting the part. The mounting diameter determines its fit in the seat, while the lower contact area affects how the product rests on the supporting surface. A tapered outline should not be squeezed into a straight recess that distorts the body before loading.
Position the feet so that the load enters through their intended axis. Sideways dragging can bend a projecting foot differently from normal vertical support. Check stability with the complete product assembled, allowing for unequal weight at different corners. The attachment method and compound should suit the expected handling and environment. Clean the exposed faces and examine the taper for leaning or uneven compression if the product develops a rocking motion.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A tapered outline should not be squeezed into a straight recess that distorts the body before loading. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
