Product Overview

A rubber anti-vibration bumper gives furniture components a compliant meeting point instead of allowing their rigid surfaces to touch directly. This custom part is intended for a furniture layout that needs a particular shape, whether the available contact area is narrow, offset, or interrupted by surrounding construction. Its profile should suit the way the two surfaces approach one another.

The closed position deserves as much attention as the impact itself. An excessively tall bumper can leave a visible gap, alter the alignment of adjoining surfaces, or place continuous pressure on a closure. Too little projection allows hard contact before the rubber can work. Assess the bumper with the furniture assembled and operate the affected section through its ordinary range of movement.

Color can be selected to coordinate with the surrounding finish. Material selection should also account for that finish and the cleaning products used nearby. Remove grit from the contact point during routine care, and replace a bumper that has moved or worn unevenly. Uneven contact may indicate that the furniture alignment needs attention as well.

Material options
Rubber compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. An excessively tall bumper can leave a visible gap, alter the alignment of adjoining surfaces, or place continuous pressure on a closure.
Custom geometry
Color can be selected to coordinate with the surrounding finish.
Fit evaluation
Assess the bumper with the furniture assembled and operate the affected section through its ordinary range of movement.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; part identification clear of mounting seats and loaded faces.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
